Hi there, I'm Zhen.

I found the happiness from drawing as a kid, and since then my passion for telling stories through pictures has only grown. In 2012, I moved to the US to focus more heavily on the study of art. I attended the Academy of Art University and graduated with a B.F.A in illustration. I loves nature, animals and people, and I am also fond of good movies and traveling. I’m currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Hi there! I’m Zhen (pronounced Z-ehN).

I’m an illustrator and concept artist who loves capturing the small, meaningful moments in everyday life. My work spans children’s publishing, animation, and advertising, and I’ve created art for clients including Amazon Kids, BBC, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Macmillan, Hasbro, and others. I’m passionate about visual storytelling and creating images that feel warm and expressive.

Outside of illustrating, I enjoy nature, animals, and traveling—experiences that constantly inspire my work. I’m currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
